Meet the Team
Eric Cousineau
Eric Cousineau is a documentary wedding and fine arts photographer located in the American Southwest. Eric obtained his BFA in photography in 2003 from the College of Santa Fe, and began his wedding photography career in 2007.
Eric’s recent body of commissioned work, Essential Workers, highlight his award-winning black-and-white portrait techniques. Eric captures the spirit of the labor force in this collection, creating profound and resilient environmental imagery of the working class. Eric’s portraits of front-line medical workers in the COVID unit from September 2020 are on permanent display in the art collection at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, NM. Photographs were sold through Form & Concept Gallery. Eric was the first person allowed in the hospital walls that was not staff or a COVID patient.
Eric began studying portrait techniques in 1999 with David Scheinbaum and Janet Russek Debbie Caffrey and Tony O’Brien, and has honed his work over the decades into a survey of everyday people at the crosshairs of late-stage capitalism. His work has been exhibited across the region and is currently in collection at Form and Concept Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
Past exhibitions have taken place at 5 . gallery (Santa Fe, NM), Governor’s Gallery (Santa Fe, NM), Jennifer Schwartz Gallery, (Atlanta, GA), Wall Space Gallery (Santa Barbara, CA, Photo-Eye (Santa Fe, NM) Unit D Gallery (Santa Fe, NM) and the Marion Center, (Santa Fe, NM.) Eric’s Motel series, was awarded first place and best series in the N.Y. Photo Curator the Global Photography Awards, and for this collection he was additionally awarded the Kindle Project Grant (2009).

When he's not setting up equipment for events, he loves to watch "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” Milo is particularly inspired by Guy Fieri's kindness and how he helps mom and pop restaurants by featuring them on his show in a positive light.
